Horse Walker in Lincolnshire

Model Installed:

RSPS Vario Driver 4GB–4PV​

A newly installed horse walker at the farm required power.

​

The hydraulically operated walker required either connection

to the mains supply which was 50 – 60 metres away and involved considerable cost with excavation to remain compliant with the electrical cable install.

​

The RSPS Vario Driver 4GB–4PV was configured with four gel batteries and four PV panels in an inverse crescent formation. Everything was contained within the normally wasted space inside the horse walker.

​

RSPS also updated the hydraulic power unit with an emergency stop, an hour meter (to assist with maintenance requirements) and upgraded the cables to ensure safety and reliability.
